Dr. Baker

Medical Director for Seven Oaks and Pet Urgent care

Dr. Katy Baker, has nurtured a love for animals since childhood. Growing up with rescued dogs, cats, and three beloved horses—Phantom, her mother’s horse, Odie, her sister’s horse, and Austy, her own competition horse—her early experiences inspired her dedication to veterinary medicine. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, Dr. Baker’s passion for travel and adventure led her to the esteemed Royal Veterinary College in England, where she gained international expertise in veterinary care.

In her role at Seven Oaks Pet Hospital, Dr. Baker brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of animals. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her three large breed mutts—Nalah, Captain Hook, and Brave—and her daughter’s bearded dragon, Ty. She also loves traveling to unique and beautiful places with her husband and daughter, cherishing the chance to explore the world together. And on a lighter note, her favorite animal remains the ever-enigmatic unicorn.
